Need new throttle assembly and cables for this carb. HD Keihin #27206-93. Do I need cables specifically for this bike? My guess it’s a 93, 883. I’ve tried a universal assembly, not working. I also may need some extended length due to apes and custom frame

You need cables that match you throttle control & carberator and are the right length for your handlebar set up. Barnett makes some good USA cables, just measure the cables you have and call them, they will hook you up.

Throttle control assembly = 56308-88 open throttle cable
idle control assembly = 56309-88 close throttle cable
grip and sleeve throttle = 56220-81b
housing switch and throttle control - lower = 71563-82a
housing switch and throttle control - upper = 71564-82
ferrule x 2 = 56508-76 goes on the end of the cable so it fits the grip and sleeve

These are the part numbers you may need from the 93/94 parts catalog if you need any other part numbers just let me know as ive got the book here

The only place i can find the 27206-93 is in my big twin parts list
and its listed for fxr, softail, and dyna models so its the right carb for the 1340 models for 93/94
