Right, 8 cents a mile is cheap pleasure not to mention transportation.:s

Thats a pretty good way to look at it. Cost per mile would have me right at 7 cents per mile.

Plus you have to keep it gear and rolling cause your engine won't idle!

My 1989 Electra Glide Ultra Classic, Screaming Eagle III"s relatively newly broken in, rebuilt engine (almost 3000 miles) is still getting about 40 mph - the same before the rebuild. But as has been said - does it really matter: when as walking out of a store, I smile just because I see her let alone the joy of the ride?

Funny, I live in north GA and was just thinking I need to look around and try to find some gas that doesn't have ethanol in it!

2008 RKC. Stage 1 upgrade. Rinehart true dual pipes. 18,542 miles, 40.7 mpg grand total. Would be closer to 44 mpg if all the gasoline didn't have (EDIT)ethanol in it.
