Got a FLTRX

Very nice ride. I came close to getting the Ultra Road Glide but decided on the Ultra Classic instead.
I had a 1999 Road Glide for about 3 yrs and liked it but couldn't adjust to how far the gauges etc. were from me. Great ride though ,especially in cross winds. Enjoy your new ride.

Yeah,I prefer these handlebars.The fairing has 2 big vents,and I use them to peek at where I'm going when I park in the garage.Plus a windscreen vent.The gauges are further,but there's nothing you can't do with your thumbs now,joysticks on left and right side.I wish it had bag guards,and a front fender like the other touring bikes.I'll be happy if it just doesn't migrate tranny fluid.
 
On another blog they talk about the clutch on the 2019 M8 touring models that has a different(thicker)ring at the back of the clutch pac..It will enterchange with 2017-2018 clutches and makes the clutch take hold more in the middle of the throw like the old cable types...
 
Took about a week to get used to it.Got the friction point down now.

Got a little over 4k on her now.Great bike the Milwaukee 8 is strong.Taking her in tomorrow for the recall I got today.Could this have anything to do with some bikes having the problem of fluid going from tranny to primary?
