Haven't rode since Dec.

Me either and I live in south Texas; no snow. Sometimes life and work gets in the way but I don't show any of the symptoms; just accept what is real and ride when I can. No snow but generally cold and wet for weeks now; not fun riding weather and I ride for fun not just to be riding.;)

I wish it was only a case of not riding since December. I had mine parked the first week of November because of an early snowfall and the roads getting salted. Today was the first day since then that it's been near freezing so I could go and start her up just to get the oil circulated. Ohh that felt good just to hear her growl. I'm hoping for an early spring but won't hold my breath.

I'm with you tourbox! I am not ashamed to say that I am a fair weather rider, regardless of what some of the guys at work think. ;) I have nothing to prove, as well as a 23 mile commute where the slowest I go is from the garage to the end of the driveway. All the local roads are 55mph and 65 on the hwy. Too cold under 50*F for me. The way I see it, for 19 years, I had to go out in the elements regardless because I had an outside job. I have since moved to an inside job, and if I do not want to be uncomfortable when outside, I'm not going to! :D

PMS ha-ha-ha, I'll tell my wife about this one.

This could be as bad as the flu epidemic, It's not just confined to the colder climates. Along the coast there have been few good riding days this past season, although I've forced myself (ha) to get out the bike for short rides just to run it.
Fair weather rider... you betcha, its like golf or boating, if it's raining or too cold it can wait.

I always thought PMS = Pay Mister Snap-On
Now it has a whole new meaning, and it's true.
We slowed down some at the shop so I started my winter project on the bike, now were so busy I don't have extra time to finish putting it back together.
But there is no hurry, we got 8 inches of snow Wednesday between 12 am and 5 am and a free ice skating rink all the way home last night.

I too ride for fun, not to be miserable or to prove anything. That being said, I don't mind going for a ride in the forties all geared up just to get my head cleared and listen to the bike going down the highway!:p

Early september was the last time my bike was out as the list of desperatley needed tasks have had to be done
Had to lay new carpet in the front room consists of find suitable carpet empty room of lots of heavy furniture lay carpet put the furniture back then find new couches as the old ones are too worn for the new carpet
Got it all done and the sawmill called and my wood order was ready so built a shelter over back patio
then the hallway needed decorating and just about to start fitting a new kitchen
and i still work 4 days a week
I dont even know if my bike is still there it is so long since i had time to get to the bike shed
