HD problems/ quality?

Kind of weird comparison. I guess there no American made hand guns that can be compared to Harley. But to each his own.

I would have to agree a weird comparison. What is the theory behind these videos. The time stamp at 5:00 minute mark is quite ridiculous. To bad the gun did not go off and shoot himself....... I see no correlation to the discussion of the thread....
Maybe its just I am not a gun guy......

The comparison has nothing to do with American made. It has to do with the customer. Harley owners tend to be tinkerers. So are Glock owners. The first thing most Harley owners do is order some new pipes and throw them on because stock just isn't good enough. The first thing a Glock owner will do is buy a new trigger off the internet and install it.
In one case the bike will blow exhaust all over the place because the owner didn't know enough to replace the exhaust seals and in the other the gun won't fire but in both cases it was probably user error and not a product defect.
You would have to be involved in both passions to really get the comparison and I just assumed most here would get it since, you know, guns and motorcycles just go together. :s

What other company can make a fix for a problem they claim a bike don't have charge 400 dollars for it and people take up for them! I'm talking about the IDS for the 2007 Harley touring bikes.
