:bigsmiley28:being water cooled I'm surprised it gets that hot.you said you only took it out twice. if it is new it should cool some after it is broken in

I use my sports bike boots when riding the VRSCDX. Never had any problem with the heat. I use the heals rather than the toes of the boots (as you do with sports bikes) to gauge how low I am going in the corners.
