I agree with TCSTD. This time of year in th Phoenix area is hot all the time (105+). Because of my race experiences years ago, I will not get on a bike without jacket, full-face helmet, full-fingered gloves, jeans, and boots (I know the value of "protection"!). So riding very early and late with a cooling vest, vented jacket, and long lightly-traveled roads for hundreds of miles is the way to enjoy riding and deal with the heat.
It may be a "dry" heat, but when it gets to 110-115 it's like a blast furnace even when you're movin'!!
