I read the post about reliability... hmmm...

Mine has had $12,000+ of extended warranty work over the years including an engine rebuild @ 72,000 (took advantage to make it a 103, Woods cams, 10:1... 96 HP, 115 TQ :s); a frame rebuild at 100,000 (swing arm bushings, new shocks, forks rebuilt, steering head bearing replaced); several sets of cam chain tensioners; primary chain tensioner & many other misc things.

Also all scheduled maint over all the years.

Drive belt & trans and rear sprockets at 115,000 - my dime

Replaced the second failed SE 6 speed with a Baker DD6 at 115,500 (should have done the Baker after the first failed SE 6 sp) - also my dime


And now it's not worth anything on trade for a '14.

Oh well, now shooting for 200,000

2011 Flhtk, just a hair over 21,000 miles. I have a 3500 mile ride coming up in about a month.

03 ultra, 88 motor. 48,000 miles i bought it with 13,000.
i have done two voltage regulators, one stator, fork rebuild, can chain upgrade, and scheduled maintenance and oil, tires, and brakes.

04 Heritage Softail Classic, bought with 8750, now has 28690. Routine maintenance, 1 set of tires, 1 set of brakes and a few goodies added.

01 Road King Classic, 88
bought it in July 2006 with 60k miles
second owner
factory reman. engine at 66k due to grenading cam bearing.
now has 165k miles

1992 FLHTP Im second owner. Got it with 20,000 on it. Has 146,583 so far.
1993 EGC I'm second owner. Got it with 42,000 on it. Has 78000 on everything but the engine. I removed that to drop in a new Ultima 113 which has 16000 miles on it so far.
