How often do you change your oil and filter

if it only has 2 miles on it the oil filter should be ok, me i would just swap out the oil and leave the filter.
on my metric i used to change the oil twice to one filter (night mare to get at), but on my HD's i do filter every change

I have a '98 xlh1200. I change the engine oil (Mobil1 or HD Syn3) every 5K. Something over 45K (Speedometer was broken for two years.) on the bike. No problems.

I change mine slightly more frequently than the manual. Instead of every 5,000 miles, I usually change it after around 3,500 or so.

Have you ever used AMSOIL??? I have been using it for years in all my bikes I put in all three holes.

i change mine according to how hard i run my sporty, if i cruise alot i like to get around 3,000 or so,
but if i've been useing it like a rocket i change it lot sooner like 1500 to 2000 miles..
