I try to select my words with care but sometimes it can end up confusing
wind is from the south so it has warmed up a wee bit but need it to hold as my winter tyres have not arrived yet

good to hear that you are mobile again. was afraid you would have to move around via a sled

Salt and grit spread on the road so the bike stays in the shed the wheel chains are back in the car for the next 6 months in case things change suddenly and i need them
i don't expect serious amounts of the white stuff for at least another month however best to be prepared
