I Am CANADIAN

Hello out there ! I am from Montreal Quebec. Hibernation is still going on but today the temp. is +2 so we are getting there. :bigsmiley11:

Just joined from Kelowna, B.C. We have been riding all this year, yes 12 months as weather has been very mild. Snow on the ground for only couple of days, green Christmas this year. Street sweepers are out already, roads in the valley cleared.

Well, I have been poking around this forum for a couple of years but just joined a few days ago. I'm out here in Squamish on the west coast. Those lucky guys in the Lower Mainland were able to ride most of the winter. We get some nice warm days this time of year here but our roads are covered with sand from un-needed sanding. Won't take the bike out until they are cleaned, hopefully soon. We were riding by mid March last year. Don't mind temps right down to single digits but don't like anything slippery.

I'm not a canadian, but congrats on the great 2010 games you put on.

Thanks..they started out on a few rough notes..one death, stupid protesters, and the warm weather..but as the 2 weeks progressed..things got pretty good. And the finale...Canada-US hockey game...creme-de-la-creme...whats not to like !!!

Thanks.
I just got back from Whistler a couple days ago. I worked there for the entire month of February on the CTV Olympic broadcast. Quite a few bikes out there, even in the mountains and trying to stay dry between rain showers. I ran into one Fat Boy in Squamish outside a Starbucks on a sunny day. I truly envy their weather on the west coast.
Things are warming up here it Edmonton quite nicely 12 deg C yesterday. And SUNNY! Still too much sand, wet and crap on the road for me to break out the Dyna yet.
