Ignition Timing- how do I know if it is off?

Double checked cam timing, readjusted the push rods, installed Pistons with deeper valve pockets.
The ticking sound is Gone!
That's about what I did

My thought, if the timing was fine before and you didn't mess with it, then it's probably fine now. I'd try adjusting the valves again. JMHO.
 
1 more thought, I've read posts where cam timing can be a real pain to get correct. Maybe a 3rd check wouldn't hurt.
 
Yep a Typo about the plug. If you use the Clear View plug don't screw it in to far or the flywheels will rub on the end and scratch it up.
