inner fairing

That's what I thought. I was questioning Icemans post #6 about removing paint from the inner.

I think he meant remove the inner fairing and paint it.

I doubt you could go back.

Nasty how? It's boot polish. Apply just as you would on a pair of boots. Buff out with a microfiber cloth. Here in Florida I reapply every six months or so. Works for me.

Myself, I prefer "Pig Spit".
Something that is made specifically for bikes.

A quick spray, don't have to wipe it down.
Quick and easy.....

I'll save the boot polish for the boots. That's what it's made for.

Pig spit is great stuff. If the plastic is already faded though, mothers back to black works terrific. Boot polish should work ok I suppose, but if it gets to hot it will melt and I would think get messy?
