K&N Air filter

It sounds good and seems to running good. Can this hurt the engine? Just taking the bell off does it make that much of a difference other than not protect it from water?

Little help on the .... Does it make a difference if you are not using your bell air cover if you have a stage one conversion.

Removing the cover will not hurt anything as long as you still run a filter.

Will leaving the cover bolt off let a small amount of unfitered air in?

Why not just put a bolt in the hole?

Right! That's what I was getting at. Wouldn't want unfiltered air coming in from any where.

Has anyone put their bike on a dyno after installing an aftermarket air cleaner and seen a hp difference? In the alternative, has anyone actually felt a power difference (better throttle response, less popping on decel etc.) when using one of these? Thanks in advance.
