looking for the right torque wrench

One last important point to add to all what was previously written. Never use a Torque wrench at the end of its scale. For example when the bottom of the scale reads 10 ft/lbs and you need 10 foot lbs it most surely will not be accurate. They work best (other then the beam style) when you work within the scales they show? They lose accuracy at the extremes. Thus another reason most of us have 3 or 4 torque wrenches. My 2 cents.

Harbor Freight torque wrenches are what I have but I only use them for general work. If I was going to rebuild and engine or transmission I would go purchase a better product.

By the way does anyone know where you can send in torque wrenches to be recalibrated?
