Not on a battery bolt , if you want to clean the connections or remove the battery it will be tough IMO

If you read and understood hooples description of the cause then you would understand why loctite would only make it more difficult to tighten after the initial expansion and contraction

I just changed my battery yesterday. Guess what came with it? A small tube of blue Locktite. I didn't use it.

The new bolts that came with the battery had star washers and I will retighten them in a month or so down the road.

What brand of battery was that Tank?
