Can you post a pic of the location on your bike?

Here are two pictures with the new line. The problem area is right between the black wire ties.

Thanks Jonas. That is about where I thought you were referring to. The passenger side floor board vs. the rider board is what through me in post #8.

Passenger side:rofl dummy, sorry was thinking car. Looks like you clutch cable is routed different. I do not think you will have a problem. My metal line and clutch cable touched. I looked at a 05 RoadKing and 07 Ultra they both touched.

No problem Jonas.

I have replaced my clutch cable twice (user/newbie error) and the release cover once (also user/newbie error). So it is possible I routed things differently because it made sense to me. Yeah, that's what I did - and I am sticking with that story. :s
