i have the same problem with my sporty....can I buy just the extensions or do I buy extensions with new mirrors.....?

I just bought the extensions, I would think you could do that on a Sportster also.

Has any one tried switching the mirrors sides and running them below the bars like the new forty-eight

Just gotta watch out that they don't hit your tank at full turn stops.
