Congrats on the new bike. She is indeed a beauty and will no doubt take you on many great journeys!
Re your seat, I agree with smitty901 as I had the same concern as you when I first got my '08 Electraglide. Several thousand miles later, I am finding the stock seat much more comfortable and it no longer feels overly firm.
