need help picking a bike

MSF course a VERY good thing. There is a lot to be said for a sportster. You might want to be thinking about riding it for a while before looking for another bike..... if you want one then. Just might get to liking the sporty better.
 
Ride all the models you can, you will find one that fits just right and eventually the one you buy...good luck!!
 
I think you need to do the motorcycle safety course first. it'll straight up tell you what you need to do to ride safely and successfully. With a dyna, I think you'll be okay because it's so low to the ground you won't have any problem being able to control and walk the bike around.
