I chalk it up to a hard sell attempt for the service plan, like I said they're only minutes from my house and everyone else there is great, a real popular spot for the local Hog Group to meet. I appreciate the input that I was getting (EDIT)

The dealer is hosing you for sure.Nothing saying you have to get the warranty from that dealer either. Shop it around.

The extended is overpriced that they quoted you and you can do the maintenance yourself without a problem.
