You are correct, East penn makes Deka, big crank and Harley batteries in the USA. My mistake.

Lowes also sells Deka, and under $100. Their website is a bit confusing, but worth a little patience. I think I paid $80.00 for my last battery there, and they don't take your old one, so you can take it to O'reilly Auto Parts and get $10.00 for it!
