HD or after market?

HD. They cost $50. I had some after market covers on the OEM hinges that were on the bike when I bought it. The were not installed correctly a have been bugging me for a while.

I put the HD chrome hinges on my bike a couple of years ago. They look soooo much better than the stock bare bones hinges. EZ project.

Did you have any trouble drilling out the old rivets?

I put them on my 07. They really dress up the pizza box. I gave the ones I took off to a guy with a police bike. His saddlebag hinges were getting a bit loose.

Not at all. I used a dremel tool with a cutting wheel to grind the rivet heads off. Popped the rivets out with a small punch.
You will need the help of a second person to hold the tour pak lid as you bolt on the hardware.
Now I want the new clamps and they cost 100 clams.......sigh!
