I decided on a windshield from Freedom Shields.

While I was talking to the proprietor John on the phone, and after doing some measurements while I was sitting on the bike (in the garage), he thought the 6" height should work for me since I want the dark tint. So I went for it and ordered it. Should have it in a week. Very nice guy and he offered me a 10% discount since I am a member of another forum (I suppose I cannot mention it here). Hopefully it will solve my helmet buffeting.

With the shipping, it cost $105.98 delivered to my door.

I think I got a great deal.

UPDATE...

Well, after trying out the Freedom Shield in dark tint and 6" height, I realized the dark tint isn't for me so I returned that shield and had a light grey tint in an 8" height sent to me. I wanted a little more height.

Finally had some seat time on the bike and this color and height seems to work for me.

Nice thick shield, well made, finished nicely too!
