J jewelrider Member Aug 14, 2008 #1 hi my 08 roadking will not start when cold unless i crack the throttle help
G glider Veteran Member Aug 14, 2008 #2 You mention a Road King but your avatar area says street glide??? Same engine anyway, could be the TPS or the temp sensor on the front head causing it. Let the dealer diagnose it after checking the values on both. That's what the warranty is for.

G glider Veteran Member Aug 14, 2008 #4 The reason I mentioned the TPS is because opening the throttle on a start will change the parameters that are needed for a proper start.
