They mean that the "D" in Davidson should be at the 12 o'clock position.

I agree there, it should be one bolt position to the left (counter clockwise) to read right.

I believe it's ---- take the cover back off , spin it to the left 1 bolt hole and reattach.

argh..gotta take it off again..

didnt realize the D should be at the top bolt. that's why when i looked at the cover, i sort of felt theres some weirdness of the "motor co" writing not leveled..
