On a 09 street glide things start getting alot more expensive
Quick detach kit for 09 $530 + tourpak and back rest acessories

Wow - is that the price straight out of the catalog or have you checked Zanotti's or Chicago HD? That new look rear fender must have changed the docking points or something. Or maybe that includes more stuff than on the pre-09 models.

Planning on getting a Tour Pack for my 2008 FLHT and the quote was right around 1,000.00 like yours with Back Rest and Quick Detach, which the Quick Detach is a must for me as will only want the Pack for trips which means will be riding without it 70-80% of the time ..
