Ahhhhh, it's just about time to start photo-documenting rides again. Not that we haven't ridden during the winter months, but NOW the time is getting really right. Stand by!!!!
Today I mixed a little pleasure and work together.......Tifton Georgia HD. Mitchell (saleman there) says they are having a party and band tomorrow night. Some guy, I don't recall his name, will be playing the piano using only the seat of his jeans. Don't look at me! Mitchell swears it's true.
Finally made it back to Lorman for some good fried chicken. We took a break on the way down at Rocky Springs (on the Natchez Trace) as did many other bikers. One guy went to the high school my dad was principal of years ago. We had some good stories about that, even though he and his wife were a few years older then me. Their crew was headed to Lorman too, and we all visited with the owner, Mr. D, afterward. Then my husband and I went to the Ruins of Windsor, and followed a wonderfully curvy road as we left from there. We had no idea where it would lead, and that was part of our great fun. It was a great day trip.
A few more..... I can tell you that those ruins look like they could fall any minute!....... The last pic is the bloom of the Mimosa tree that grows wild around here and is so wonderfully fragrant this time of year.
