Problem with 2009 Ultra Radio

From what I heat this is an all to common problem with the HK radios. I sent mine to these people and it was fixed. Never had the problem again. Check out this link

I had this issue with my HK, on a 2008 Ultra. It ended up being a shorted wire in the wiring bundle to the stereo. The stereo was still putting out sound but to the headset jack only. If you have a headset you can check and see if the stereo still works. (assuming you have the same problem) If it works then you have a short. If not then could be stereo and/or a short.

That's a good idea. I hope I can find someone that is willing to let me pull their radio. My next step is to pull the radio and see what I find. I'll post my findings.
