This is a long shot, have you checked your battery? Load test, clean and tight connections

The codes d01-d09 are speedo codes only. To ck. for ECM codes ck. out the link in post #5. If shorting out the pins per the instructions make sure the Run/Kill switch is in Run position before turning on main ign. Switch. Wait for the Ck. Eng. light to start flashing. If it doesn't then I have another that may work.

Yep tried that, got 1 short light then a one that lasted a little longer and that's it. Ready for your alternate method. Also the battery is good. And thanks

Some of the older models you could get diagn. mode by cycling the Ign. switch. Remove your jumper from the Data link. With the run/kill in run position turn the Ign. switch on then off 3 times.Leave on 1-2 seconds then off 1-2 seconds. After 3rd time on leave it on and in about 8-10 seconds it should start flashing rapidly as per the other instructions. sometimes it take 4 cycles. Doesn't always work either, just a shot.
