Recharge battery

I connect mine when I get the bike ready for its long winter nap. The only thing I do after that is to make sure that the unit shows that the battery is fully charged.

Are the HD "SmartChargers" truly "set it and forget it"?? Any issues or suggestions or is it just that simple?

Yep, and it will increase the life of the battery also, so it in the long run it pays for itself.
