Get the parts manual, too. Some of the pictures and breakout diagrams are way better than what's in the repair manual.

Got the service manual thrown in when I bought the wife's Sporty. Sales guy made it sound like I was taking away all their profit, but they did it.

I ordered mine from an online discounter only to find out that the dealer was cheaper.

Wait until they are available from the Motor Co. and get it from them. I really like the way HD has set them up compaired to aftermarket products.

+1 on Zanottis, and +5 on getting a Factory service manual over a chiltons or other aftermarket

I find my trips to the deal for parts go a lot faster and are generally more accurate when I show up with the part numbers I need. The parts book is often the only way to do that. I also like the way it shows all the individual pieces and parts.
