Chamfering the leading edge of the pads lightly with a file can help. Also putting thin layer of copper/antisqueal compound on the backing can help...! There was even a service bulletin for those who had dual disc front brakes to swap the discs "opposite" of the normal L & R orientation. All this implying that "--they all do it..." NOT...just a difficult thing to stop brake noise.
Bottom line, if you hear light swish...NORMAL...heavy drag, moan or squeal...BAD! Make sure the friction material is at least 1/32 of an inch from the backing plate.
