In the video he said 10 microns, think i'll stick with the Harley or K&N filter. I do like the welded nut that K&N offers on their filter.

Just so we all know what we are dealing with, discussing oil filter ratings.
Piston oil jet size is .025”-.030” or 635-732 microns. So, 5 microns is unlikely to plug up anything.

I too like the welded nut, still make a mess trying to do the last few turn with a ziplock freezer bag over the filter!

Decided since I don't know much about S&S filters or Bel Ray mineral oil, I'm gonna buy an HD filter and bring in three qts. of Mobil 1 V-Twin. Dealer said that was fine with him, he'll change it for free, and he said because I'm using my own oil, which saved him some $$$, he'll throw in a free T shirt. Not bad I guess.
