Salt off roads?

Any suggestions on when the salt rinses off the road enough to start riding in March.I Live in Wisconsin and winter missed us this year. Every year I ride earlier can't wait to get going.2012 Triglide.

I would suggest the best thing to do. Is go to a car wash that has the hand held wand. Wash your scoot down and turn on the hot wax and wax the heck out it. Especially those places you'll never clean unless you have that section torn apart. In other words, there's not a thing you can do about lingering salt and sand and what not. Preventative maintenance is your best bet.

The road commission puts a mixture of salt and sand on our roads here but it's gone after a good rain. You can see it and feel it in the corners before a good rain washes it away.

Hey neighbor, i'm pushing 400 miles so far and no signs of salt on my scoot. Roads:bigsmiley30: are in pretty good shape this year due to a mild winter.
