So I just got a kitchen pass from my mrs to make the trip in Feb, I'll keep an eye to see when. Salt Springs looks close to Palatka, have family there,so if all cabins are booked I can stay with them.

Palatka is close. We piled into a couple of trucks and rode in to the Golden Corral for Supper last year.
Kemo even gave us a tour of the CVS parking lot.
