i fitted the SE mufflers myself.they came with fitting instructions & gaskets-dead easy really & they sound real nice.

I have Python's on my 06 but i do like the SE although i haven't heard the VH.

I have the SEII's on my 2006 1200XL, and I really like the sound of them as compared to straight pipes. Nice burble with low end, whereas straights tend to be very biting and harsh. I do have the SE air filter and a re-jet, which in total is a stage 1. To add just one component (pipes or air cleaner) you do not have to re-jet or adjust. On a newer bike, the fuel injection should adjust to cover it just fine.

Why would you recommend the V&H versus the SE slip ons?

Screamin Eagle Street Performance slip on's that they sell now are really quiet. This isn't a sporty but this is what they sound like>>>>
