Glider - The picture of label on the box from HD says 11/14/05. Is this what you would consider "later"?

That's usually the manufacture date and doesn't indicate much in this situation, find out the part numbers on both mufflers.

Also...wouldn't the SE logo be on "outer" side of pipe so there should be no question on which is which...??

These slip ons were made without the Screaming Eagle logo on them. According to my local shop, not an unusual occurance.

We can "surmise" all day but without the part numbers from both mufflers, we're only guessing.

By George, you're absolutely correct! I just went out to the garage to confirm it and the logo is only on one side of each pipe - the outside! Brilliant!
