Thx Tourbox, i'll have to get the book then i am not familiar with the procedure, new to the HD world,got this old 94 883 with screaming eagle 1200 heads decked out pretty nice for an old sporty, got vance/hines 2into1 exhaust and chrome everything LePera seat, was really hoping for a simple fix instead of tearing into and not riding....and its finally spring

It is a OEM parts finder and breakdown. Plug in you year & model then look for Shifter. It will give you some idea. Getting the service manual is a great idea though. Good luck and keep us posted.
