Smokie/Blue Ridge Parkway

Love Cade's Cove. We make a couple of trips there each year ( early spring and Fall).
Check out some of the caves in the area while your there, it amazing what's under appearently solid ground.

I used to like Cades Cove in the car but I went a couple years ago on the bike and traffic was so bad the thing almost shut off due to overheating. More time stopped than moving, no lie. Never again. Too many good places to ride without the aggravation.

I have been on it a few times now from top to bottom. It's a nice ride with plenty of nice scenery. I usually go there around the first week of June, before all the typical vacationers are around. Watch your speed, there are usually some cops here and there with the radar gun. There are also alot of scenic pull offs for pictures.
