Welcome Steve. I know how you feel about Honda. I had 4 Goldwings over the years and they were all fantastic bikes but...I too had to have a Harley. When the new /09's came out I knew it was now or never. The more I ride my /09 Ultra Classic, the more I love it!!! The feel, the sound, the handling, the ride, etc. There's just something about rumbling down the highway on a sunny day on a big V twin that only those that ride Harleys can really appreciate or understand.

I am in the same boat....
I have a VTX1300c converted to my own version of a Street glide.
But, it still isn't......

Congrates on the new bike. I had a 2003 VTX 1800 R and traded it in last fall for an 2009 Ultra. not as fast but a lot nicer ride. Enjoy the ride
