Welcome to the forum michaelt, My favorite for sound are Rineheart slip-on's, if you want the whole exhaust system then it would be the V&H short shots also to get that extra performance you're looking for I would team the exhaust up with a S/E heavey breather and top it off with a screamin eagle supper tuner. You'll be looken good and going fast with that combo.

Put the V&H straight shots slip ons along with the screamin eagle stage 1 air cleaner on my wifes 883L sounds great and is quite loud.

I went with the V & H Double Barell exhaust. They have a performance chamber that helps a lot with the hp & tq. Sound real good too.

I agree with Iceman I have a set of Samson Shorties on My nightster and they are awesome. you can get them them with black heatshields too.

I agree I have a 04 883 sporty with screaming eagles on it and it sounds great and looks good too!

Samson big guns, they are really low sounding and really rumbly.
