Thanks for all the help. Got the bike running with some donner parts from a friends sporty. Only problem left is the speedo is dead & icm/security light inop. Other than that th bike is running great. Is there anything inside the speedo that could have blown out- that may be repairable with out replacement???

Makes sense now, your friends' bike Speedo and TSM are operational, but your bike has a bad Speedo and TSSM...? Sounds like you are on the right trail then, but ICM once married to TSM will not be compatible with the TSSM and different programming code...based on the VIN # or similar by the dealer. You are probably back at square one unless you go with TSM w/o security. Hold your breath...the price of TSM is similar to TSSM...but that is probably the way to go.
