Properly fitted Bike Jack is probably best, but in a pinch, or w/ limited resources I did the old fashion shade tree mechanic method...pulled up along sturdy wooden fence, about 15" or so from it, put the bike in gear, cocked the front wheel to the left and leaned it against it about 15 to 20lbs may have to move bike several times to get balance and weight and distance correct (engine guard pegs, handlebar end and rear passenger peg are probable temporary contact points, just long enough to put jiffy stand down along with stack of 2x4 boards underneath to secure frame/jiffy stand tension and leveled.
Mount a long 2x4 on the wall at the correct height in or outside your garage or property fence line, then use several screw in bike coated hooks for 99 cents each along the way using Ancra Straps to secure and level your bike, if you want something more permanent.
