I try to go up too the area twice a year. All the roads up there are way better than riding at the beach.

if you like spearfish canyon, you should try vanocker canyon, straight south of sturgis on junction street, i think its a better ride

went to slay the Dragon this past November and it was on of the greatest times i have ever had on a bike. Must ride it once. the skyway was great and the rest southeast Tennesse was some great ridind as well. Don"t worry about the videos we spent two days there durring the week and the trafic was minimal.

I think it was overrated myself , I found that a ride from Franklin over to Highlands on hwy 64 was a better ride than the tail

Been up there plenty of times in the car taking the sportster this spring, during the week. Beautiful countryside all the way there but very busy on the weekends. Everytime I go there are hundreds of Harleys cruising the streets.

The Wheels thru Time doesnt open till Feb 25th which (EDIT) lol I was there in my truck over new yrs and really wanted to go. Means I'll have to ride back up next month sometime. Heck of an excuse not to work, great one to ride.

I find the Dragon boring & tiresome.The Cherohala Skyway
a much more pleasant ride.I live within a couple of hours of
either.It's the Skyway hands down.
