the u.s. private equity company that bought out Woods Frezzers stripped to company of all it`s assets then thru 250 people out of work , pulled out and left only broken family`s behind . some had worked there over thirty years , no vacation or severance , they just took the money & ran

One thing to consider, who is going to buy assets these days? They could of course do it the American Way. Ship manufacturing out of the country, close US factories then file bankruptcy and push the non performing assets on to the banks and tax payers.
