because the hydraulic tensioners are a "band aid", but gear drive cams are "bullet proof". hehehe :newsmile055:
I bought an 06 ultra with 28k and had a catastrophic bottom end failure 30 days after I bought it. I was able to get Harley to send matching # cases, had a stroked and balanced 107 built with all the bells and whistles. My wife will never forgive me for buying a bike that needed a 5k motor to use
