I have a 08 FLHTCU with 103" SE stage II. It is currently tuned by the SERT. Can the TFI be piggy backed on top of the SERt or does the ECM need to be flashed back to stock before tuning with the TFI. What TFI is right for me?
Yes it can be used on top of the SERT but it's a waste of money in your case. As mentioned above the SERT can be tuned to give you anything you need and the TFI would just be along for the ride. IF you decide to do this, the stock map would be a good choice because the TFI would be more adjustable this way to give you better results . With an upgraded map, the TFI wouldn't be adding much if anything over the map from the SERT that is installed now.
