So no big deal to use the M1 15W50; as long as it is the US bottled and not the Canadian bottled version. The Canadian bottled 15W50 does not contain the zinc and phosphorous (as per their MSDS).

Oh yea. Living in Florida has it's advantages. I like the year round riding. I have a 2005 EGS with 83,000 miles. I use the Redline Shockproof in my tranny. Great stuff. Another good reason is that if you have a leak. Well the Redline is pinkish in color and very easy to see.
