Tranny Fluid Capacity

It might vary a bit because some of us let it drain for 45 minutes and others put the plug in when it starts to drip. 4 oz is not very much, but it would make me nervous the first time I realized I'd over filled it by that amount.

If its like my 07 manual the asterisk stands for a wet fill versus dry fill.Dry capacity for the HD six speed tranx is 32 ounces a wet fill would be a few ounces less depending on how long you wait for it to drain how hot it was etc.28 oz would be very close for a wet fill,but personnaly I dont measure the fluids I use the dipstick...

This what I do, I use the dip stick to determine how much tranny fluid I add.
